Devonport Village offers a wide range of historic character and New Zealand originality with its numerous cafes, restaurants and stores in a seaside atmosphere.

The winding tunnels, fortifications and great harbour views from the North Head Historic Reserve make this another fascinating area to explore - located just past the end of King Edward Parade.

The Ferry Terminal in Devonport offers direct transfers across to Auckland City where day trips to the nearby islands of Waiheke with its renowned vineyards and Rangitoto's inspiring volcanic cone are readily available.

Safe Swimming is easily accessible in front of The Captains Landing or close by at Narrow Neck and Cheltenham beaches.
